Supportworks is able to work with Mysql and MSSQL. Normally for database connections, the default username is root and there is no password but should customers set up MSSQL, there would be a need to set a username and password for their database connection. When using the Database Schema Editor without specifying the DSN connection details you might get the following error:

x

In order to rectify this errors, follow these instructions:

From the Database menu in the Schema Editor choose the first option to Manage Entities. This will list the connector to your database and you can set the correct username/password from here. Out of the box this is set to root with no password. If this has been changed, you will then need to put the updated credentials in here.
